What does this actually check?

Meta tags and indexing signals, heading structure, content length and readability, image alt text, link quality, security and performance headers, structured data, Open Graph and Twitter tags, and URL structure, evaluated per element where relevant, which is how a single page can produce well over 100 individual checks.

How is the score calculated?

It starts at 100 and loses points for each issue found, weighted by how much it matters: a missing title tag costs more than a missing favicon. It's meant to reflect real severity, not just a count of checkmarks.

What's the optional keyword field for?

If you give it a target keyword, it checks whether that keyword shows up in the title, meta description, H1, and opening paragraph, and flags keyword stuffing if it's overused. Leave it blank to skip those checks.

Does this work on pages behind a login?

No, it can only read what's publicly accessible, the same as any visitor without an account.
